If you’ve ever watched a K-Pop routine and wondered who teaches idols to move like that — the answer is someone like Jco.

Over 21 years of teaching dance: ten in South Korea, twelve in Germany. He has trained idol trainees and artists at Seoul agencies, among them Jay Park, 2PM, PSY, BIGBANG, Roy Kim, M.I.B, ANDA and Poppin’ Hyun Joon. A former lecturer at Seoul Arts Occupational Training College, he now runs Town-K Dance Studio as founder and director, and teaches at Millennium Dance Complex Germany.

Behind him: an M.A. in Dance Composition from Folkwang University of the Arts, a Master’s in Dance Education from Dongguk University, and a B.A. in Dance from Seoul Arts College. In front of him: judging panels and workshops across eight countries, from Korea and Japan to Romania.

At AsiaFest he runs K-Pop dance workshops on all festival days and sits on the contest jury. Come with no experience, leave with a routine.
