COOKIE POLICY

Last updated: 03.08.2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They allow the site to remember certain information between pages or visits — for example, the language you selected.

This policy explains which cookies we use on asiafest.eu and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.

2. Cookies we use

We use only strictly necessary cookies for the operation of the website.

For all visitors

3. What we do not use

This website has no:

  • traffic analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Matomo, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity or equivalents);
  • advertising or remarketing cookies (Meta Pixel, Google Ads, TikTok Pixel);
  • profiling or cross-site tracking cookies;
  • commercial data-sharing arrangements with third parties.

We do not build user profiles and we do not sell data to anyone.

4. Why there is no cookie banner

The law requires consent before placing cookies that are not necessary for the operation of a website. Strictly necessary cookies — such as the one remembering your chosen language — are exempt, under Article 4(5) of Romanian Law no. 506/2004.

Since we use only cookies in this category, we do not ask for your consent and do not display a banner. Should we ever introduce analytics or marketing tools, we will implement a consent mechanism and update this document beforehand.

5. Third-party content

On artist pages, social media icons are loaded from an external content delivery service (cdn.simpleicons.org).

It does not place cookies in your browser, but — as with any resource loaded from another domain — your IP address and basic browser information become visible to that provider. Details in our Privacy Policy.

The website also contains links to external platforms — the ticketing partner, social networks, artist and partner websites. Once you follow such a link, that site’s cookie policy applies, not ours.

6. How to control cookies

You can delete existing cookies or block new ones from your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies

You can also browse in incognito or private mode, in which case cookies are deleted when you close the window.

Note that if you block the language cookie, the site will revert to the default language on every page you open.

7. Changes to this policy

We update this document whenever we change the technologies used on the site. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the last-updated date shown at the top.
