If you want to know what a Seoul club really sounds like, he’s your man. Kim Sunggyu — DJ Fat Lips — doesn’t just play K-pop: he rebuilds the whole Korean night, transitions, hits and energy included, exactly as you’d find it in Gangnam or Hongdae.

He runs K-Pop Nights across Europe and is already a familiar name in Bucharest, where he works regularly with the Rise of Korea agency. The difference, in his own words, is having a Korean DJ behind the decks who knows the scene from the inside — not an interpretation from a distance, but the real thing.

And European crowds keep surprising him: “there were moments when I almost cried while playing, the energy in the room hit me that hard.”
