Eri Lu

Over a decade of cosplay with one clear thread running through it: video game characters, built from scratch, craftsmanship first.

Eri Lu doesn’t stick to a single technique. A single costume might involve sewing, knitting, wig styling, 3D modelling and 3D printing — combined until the silhouette matches the one on screen. That’s what keeps her going, she says: every new project is an excuse to learn something she hasn’t done before.

She has competed in Bulgaria and abroad, and in recent years has increasingly been invited to the other side of the table — as a judge, at both Bulgarian and international events.

Joining the Asia Fest 2026 Cosplay Contest jury with a keen eye for detail: the inside seams, the armor joints, and how the wig holds up after three hours at the festival. If you put in the work on your costume, it will show.
