ORIENTARHYTHM
Founded by Japanese master and choreographer Katsumi Sakakura, ORIENTARHYTHM is a revolutionary art project that redefines the concept of live performance. Born from the desire to express the true spirit of Japanese culture (“Japanese Cool”), the group merges the philosophy and dynamics of traditional martial arts (Budo) with hip-hop, locking, and street nunchaku dance.
ORIENTARHYTHM shows are renowned for pioneering the “Projection Live” concept — a flawless synchronization between the dancers’ explosive movements and 3D/CG digital projections. Every stage appearance is a visual story of discipline, rhythm, perfect timing, and modern Japanese aesthetics.
